Rotary Drum Dryers MDG, MD, and ND
200–4000 l/s compressed air dryer
MDG, MD, and ND drum-type dryers deliver cost-effective drying of oil-free air. They are particularly well suited for use in the food and beverage, power generation, pharmaceutical, and other critical manufacturing processes.
High-efficiency, energy-saving rotary drum dryer
Rotary‑drum compression‑heat drying units generate dry air in an energy‑efficient manner. They are ideally suited for use with oil‑free screw compressors or centrifugal compressors, leveraging the heat generated during compression to regenerate the desiccant—heat that would typically be wasted in conventional twin‑tower drying systems. Our rotary‑drum dryers eliminate losses of compressed air.
They require only very low power to achieve an extremely low dew point.
• The MDG rotary drum dryer has a flow rate of 450 l/s and a dew point of –40°C/F or lower.
• The MD rotary drum dryer has a flow range of 200 to 4,000 l/s and a dew point of -25°C / -13°F.
• The ND rotary drum dryer has a flow range of 300 to 4,000 l/s and a dew point of -45°C/-49°F.
• VSD variable-speed models can be paired with low-energy VSD oil-free compressors.
The MDG compressed‑heat dryer is an outstanding solution that delivers a stable, reliable pressure dew point (PDP) of –40°C (–40°F) with virtually zero power consumption. The unit features no heating elements, no blowers, and no loss of compressed air for purging. Its total power draw is less than 120 W. Compared with conventional adsorption dryers on the market, the MDG’s operating costs are close to zero—even in regions with high electricity rates.

The energy consumption of the MDG rotary drum dryer is primarily attributable to the drum motor (120 W) and the control system, making it one of the lowest‑energy‑consumption dryers on the market.
Food and Beverage Standards
Our oil-free compressor plant has been certified to ISO 22000. All of our Z-series Class 0 oil-free air compressors, along with their associated dryers and filters, comply with this food safety management system.
The space requirement is very small.
Compact and space-saving, especially when compared to oil-lubricated systems that require filtration.
Higher efficiency
The ND rotary drum dryer controller precisely regulates heating power to achieve the desired performance, providing intelligent and efficient heating.
Protect the environment
MD and ND drum-type dryers do not use harmful refrigerants such as Freon or chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs). Ninety-five percent of all components are recyclable.
