What is a rotary claw blower?
Oil-free rotary claw blowers, or dry‑type claw blowers, are a reliable and straightforward solution specifically designed to deliver low‑pressure air.
It is suitable for applications such as fermentation, aeration, and pneumatic conveying in the food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and cement industries.
Dry‑type claw technology and the corresponding blower units are also well suited for vacuum systems and applications, giving rise to the renowned negative‑pressure model: the dry‑type claw vacuum pump.
The claw‑type rotors with small clearances ensure reliable, high‑efficiency compression. The smaller the clearance between the claw rotors and the rotor housing, the higher the blower’s efficiency. The convex rotating claws are driven directly by the motor to minimize power consumption. The concave claw rotors are driven by gears; this gear drive remains stable over long service lives because the gears are more precise, thereby preventing misalignment between the convex and concave claws.
