WSD Water Separator
Atlas Copco’s WSD water separator is constructed entirely from corrosion‑resistant materials and efficiently separates water using a cyclonic separator. With no moving parts, it requires no maintenance. It also prevents condensate buildup in the compressor system’s aftercooler through both automatic and manual drainage.
The WSD series can be installed at any point in a compressed air system, and another key advantage is its ability to reduce your energy costs. Its intelligent drain feature uses a liquid-level sensor to monitor condensate accumulation, discharging condensate only when necessary to prevent inefficient use of compressed air.
Condensate buildup can cause significant problems for your compressed air system. To protect your compressed air system—and components such as dryers and filters—you need a moisture separator that effectively removes liquid water from the air stream.
No swirl‑type water‑drop filter is better suited than Atlas Copco’s WSD series. They can be installed at any point in a compressed‑air system and can even be equipped as standard with our aftercoolers.
