DDp(+) and PDp(+) dry dust filters
Dust is ubiquitous, which is why it is one of the most common threats to compressed air systems. To safeguard your operations and investments from dust-related damage, Atlas Copco has developed a comprehensive range of high‑quality air filters.
DDp+/PDp+ Series
These innovative filtration solutions feature a pleated design and a housing with edge guards, delivering exceptional air purity in a cost-effective manner while meeting increasingly stringent quality standards.
High-performance stainless steel filter elements, combined with epoxy‑sealed end caps and a corrosion‑resistant coated filter housing, make the DDp+/PDp+ series exceptionally reliable.
In addition, the smart indicator makes it easy to assess the filter’s operating condition, simplifying maintenance considerably.

DDp(+) and PDp(+) dry dust filters
Once dust—or other contaminants such as particulates and microorganisms—enters your compressed air, it can lead to harmful and costly consequences for your downstream equipment and end products.
To safeguard your operations and investments and protect them from dust, Atlas Copco has developed a comprehensive range of high‑quality air filters. These filters ensure smooth operation, extend the service life of your equipment, and help your end products meet stringent quality standards.
Understand your air quality requirements.
If you’re unsure how to select a filter and only know that you must protect your system from dust contamination, you’ll need to understand your air quality requirements. For some applications—such as tire inflation—certain contaminants in compressed air pose no issues. In contrast, other applications, like cleanroom environments, demand a higher level of air purity.
Understanding your air quality requirements and the standards you must comply with will help you select the appropriate air filter, thereby reducing your capital costs and ensuring you can fully leverage your compressed air system. If you are unsure which ISO standard applies to your operations or what types of contaminants you need to prevent from entering your system, please contact Atlas Copco or refer to the two tables below.
Authentication
• ISO 8573-4:2019
• ISO 12500-3:2009

To filter dust (as well as other contaminants), Atlas Copco also offers the high-pressure H-series filters and the silicone-free SFA-series filters.
Ideal filtration technology
The DDp+/PDp+ series employs pleated filter media. This is an effective method for capturing dry particulates in compressed air. Over time, particles will inevitably clog the filter media. Because pleated surfaces offer a larger surface area, they help extend the filter’s service life and reduce pressure drop.
inPASS™ Bypass
In addition to its superior filters, the unit features an innovative built-in bypass that lets you service the filters without interrupting airflow. For you, this means no need to install costly external pipe bypasses, resulting in lower operating and energy costs, reduced maintenance time, and significant capital savings.
Maintenance indicator
To ensure consistent air quality, the maintenance indicator allows for easy monitoring of the filter’s operating time, differential pressure, and service status. It can even send remote alerts.
Professional filtration technology
Atlas Copco’s dedicated filtration team has been continuously seeking ways to give you a competitive edge. Our next-generation filters incorporate a range of innovative technologies, making your filtration system more efficient and easier to operate. Below are just three examples.
Find the filter that suits your application environment.
The table below shows the various ISO 8573-1:2010 air purity classes, along with the Atlas Copco filter and dryer combinations that meet these classes.
If you’re unsure which ISO class you need but do know which contaminants you must protect your system from, please refer to the general‑purpose and specialized‑application table below. It provides an overview of which Atlas Copco filter is best suited to handle each type of contaminant.
Filter Application
Air pollutants
Against Atlas Copco filters, dust, water, and oil will be no match. These filters are designed to remove one or more of the following contaminants:
• Contaminants: dust, solid particles, rust particles, microorganisms.
• Water: condensed liquid water, water suspensions, and acidic condensate.
• Oil: liquid oil, oil suspensions, hydrocarbon vapors.
General Applications
Special Applications
Correction factor
When operating at pressures other than the rated pressure, the actual free air delivery (FAD) is calculated by multiplying the rated AML flow rate by a correction factor. The resulting flow rate corresponds to the pressure drop specified by the AML.
